This guide has been written to help end users clear their browser cache.
Introduction:
This guide will show you how to clear the browser cache in Google Chrome, Firefox and Microsoft Edge.
Sometimes clearing the browser cache can help resolve issues with loading websites and solve issues with the Pitram web portal.
Google Chrome:
- Click on the 3 vertical dots in the top right of the Chrome browser to drop the menu down.
- Select 'Settings' near the bottom.
- Navigate to and select 'Privacy and security on the left-hand side.
- Then click on 'Clear browsing Data'.
- Make sure the time period is set to 'All time'.
- Select the 'Cookies and other site data' tick box.
- Select the ' Cached images and files' tick box.
- Finally, confirm by clicking 'Clear data'.
Your Chrome browser cache should now be successfully cleared.
Firefox:
- Click on the hamburger menu in the top right of the Firefox browser to drop the menu down.
- Select 'Settings' near the bottom.
- Navigate to and select 'Privacy & Security' on the left-hand side.
- Then click on 'Clear Data...'.
- Select the 'Cookies and site data' tick box.
- Select the ' Cached web content' tick box.
- Finally, confirm by clicking the 'Clear' button.
Your Firefox browser cache should now be successfully cleared.
Microsoft Edge:
- Click on the 3 horizontal dots in the top right of the Edge browser to drop the menu down.
- Select 'Settings' near the bottom.
- Navigate to and select 'Privacy, search and services' on the left-hand side.
- Then click on 'Choose what to clear'.
- Make sure the time period is set to 'All time'.
- Select the 'Cookies and other site data' tick box.
- Select the ' Cached images and files' tick box.
- Finally, confirm by clicking the 'Clear now' button.
Your Edge browser cache should now be successfully cleared.
