Relates to versions - 3.29.0+ (Event Editor Only)
This guide outlines the steps to modify the range of historic shifts that Event Editor will display. It is intended to be completed by Pitram System Specialists, or trained IT resources with appropriate permissions.
Overview:
By default, Event Editor will show 425 days in the Shift Selection screen. This can be configured by modifying a configuration file in the machine folder for the PC you are working on. Event Editor must be closed before making this change. It should be noted that increasing the date range excessively can cause Event Editor to perform sub-optimally - It's advised that these changes are reverted to the original value at the earliest convenience to avoid long startup/loading times.
Steps:
- Perform a Service Shut-Down such that config files can be modified.
- Locate the following file on the Pitram Application Server, using the file path provided:
"C:\ProgramData\Micromine\PITRAM\Configuration\Machine\EventServerConfiguration.xml"
- Find the following line in the configuration file:
"ShiftEventDaysEventEditor>425</ShiftEventDaysEventEditor"
The value of 425 is the number of days that Event Editor can display in the shift selector dialogue. - Calculate the number of days back you wish to go. For example, At the time of writing, the 12th of February was 700 days ago
- Update the value to 700:
- Save the configuration file.
- Restart the Pitram Services in the required order.
- Open Event Editor to confirm the changes have been applied.
Note:
- Increasing the date range excessively can cause Event Editor to perform sub-optimally - It's advised that these changes are reverted to the original value at the earliest convenience to avoid long startup/loading times.
