Historically, the Location and Material columns in the Event Editor had a dual meaning. Depending on the events, the type and chronological order, the value in the Location column either shows the source of a movement or the location equipment is allocated to. This behaviour is similar for the Material column that either shows the material loaded at the source location or the material that is allocated to equipment.
This often leads to confusion as it is not obvious what location or material the event is referring to. Quite often the logic has to decide between the allocated and inherited values as only one of them can be displayed at a time.
A separate column for the Location and Material was introduced along with the changes to the old columns:
| New Column | Old Column | Details |
| Source | Location | The source location for all material movements performed by loading units. Displays a comma separated list of locations if locations are different. Source column is empty when hauling unit is TRAVELLING_EMPTY and QUEUEING cycles. |
| Assigned Location | The location assigned to the equipment. This may be inherited from the location of the equipment's Primary Equipment. Same logic applies to hauling and non-hauling units and dump cycles are not considered. | |
| Movement Material | Material Type | The material types related to the movement. Displays a comma separated list of materials if the materials are different. |
| Assigned Material | Material which has been explicitly set on Equipment or via assignment to a location with material type. This column does not considering loading / hauling cycles. Value is only shown if set during the current hauling cycle (i.e. over-rides the movement material) or if it is set after the previous dump - otherwise show null. |
