There are users that work a lot with Event Editor, sometimes to check data and other times to add/modify information, or simply like a complement with Data Acquisition.
I highly recommend for that users create customized views in Event Editor, this will help you a lot to quickly find and see the information you need.
When we have Event Editor open, first, we need to create a new template. We click on the arrow, and then in the Save As (Guardar Como) button.
Event Editor will ask for a name, we will enter and click Accept (Aceptar)
Now we see we have our own template:
We are ready to customize, we will start with the Columns, if we click in the column name, doing drag and drop in the same line, we can customize the order we want to.
If we want to deactivate columns, click on the column, drag and drop down, and you will se the X sign.
When we need to add/show new columns, right click on the column, and click in Column Chooser (Selector de Columnas)
You will be able to see al the available columns, just drag and drop the elements to the Columns line, and you will see the column.
A very important tip about this customization, it is the filter color, located on the top right:
For example, we need to see quickly al the SMU (Horometros) for the equipment in Yellow. We click on the yellow color in the top right bar, and then click on SMU Diesel (Horometro Diesel). By this way, we will see in yellow al the Horometro Diesel Measure. We can replicate this using different colors for all the events, equipment, measures, codes...etc.
When you finish the customization, it is crucial you save your changes, just drilldown your templates, and clicking Save (Guardar)
Event Editor will ask you to update, just click Yes (Si)
Remember you can create so many views as you need, but always you do changes in customization, you need to save changes.
