How To: Create a list of favourite equipment measures

This guide has been created to assist end users of Data Acquisition to add 'Favourite' measures for equipment models.

Overview:

The Enter Measures dialogue can be customized to set measures as 'Favourite' per Equipment Model. This creates a new list of measures that are automatically opened when you enter measures. It must first be enabled before measures can be set as a favourite.

Steps:

1. In Data Acquisition, open the tools menu and select Administrator Options.
2. Enter the site passcode. The default code is 000000 (Six Zeroes).
   
   
   
   
3. Remove the check mark from 'Lock Enter Measures Dialog'.
4. Press 'OK' to return to Data Acquisition.
   
   
   
   
5. Access the Enter Measures dialog. As you can see, the favourites tab is missing.
6. Select the measures you want to add as favourites by clicking the star symbol to the right of the input.
   
   
   
   
7. You'll now see the Favourites tab, which will display any measures you've selected as your favourite. When you open the Enter Measures dialog, it will now automatically open to the Favourites tab.
   
   
   
   
8. Once you've added the required favourites, you may choose to re-enable the Enter Measures lock to ensure the list of favourites are not inadvertently changed.
