Overview
This guide has been developed to explain the process for dynamically updating loader bucket and haul truck tray capacity for recording material movement related events.
Dynamic Attribute
Certain attributes within Pitram can be managed dynamically, meaning the attribute can be changed and set in an ad-hoc way.
For example, the "Capacity" attribute used by loaders and haul trucks to specify the nominal tonnes the unit can carry when recording material movement events.
If the Capacity attribute is not dynamically available, the following informational message will be presented. At this point, a request will need to be raised with the Pitram Support team to configure the Pitram System, so the attribute is dynamic.
Set a new Capacity Process
To update a loader or haul truck capacity, within the Data Acquisition module use the following steps:
1. Right click on the loader or haul truck to bring up the menu option and then select "Set Attribute Values"
2. In the Attribute window set the new capacity and click OK to complete. The new attribute will now be used for all material movement events captured in Pitram for the particular equipment from this date/time onwards. Historically recorded movements prior to this change will not be affected.
If you need to set a new capacity, repeat the process described above.
Note
When using the dynamic attribute to change the capacity in Data Acquisition it does not change the capacity attribute set in Reference Edit. This is the dynamic nature; it overwrites what is set in Reference Edit thus using the last dynamically set value until its changed again dynamically.
