This article will explain how to convert Data Acquisition to Read Mode. This read mode applies to those users who need to see shift information in real time but cannot modify data due to administrative permissions issues.
1. Open Data Acquisition
2. Go to: Tools -> Administrator Options
3. The system will ask you for a PIN. The default PIN is: 000000. And then go to: Login
4. Check "Run in Dashboard Mode" and then go to "OK"
5. Now you have to restart the DA: Close the DA (File->Exit)
6. Once you open the DA again, a red text will appear at the bottom left saying: Dashboard Mode (View Only). At this point, the user will not be able to modify any data or information.
