How to: Import and Export Canvas definitions in DA

We now support sharing panel and canvas configurations across multiple instances of Data Acquisition from Pitram Version 13 and onwards.

This functionality enables sites to export a configuration from one PC and import it into another, effectively duplicating the setup.

The export and import options are available via the Tools menu or the Administration Options dialog.

When the option to export is selected the user will be presented with a dialog to select the location to export to and the file name of the compressed file. The default export folder location is “C:\ProgramData\Micromine\PITRAM\Configuration\Export”.

When the option to import is selected the user will be prompted with a dialog to select the file to import.
The default import folder is “C:\ProgramData\Micromine\PITRAM\Configuration\Import”.
