When a new Drill is added to Configuration Items > Measures > Measure in Reference Editor it will not automatically apply the multiplier value when calculating Meters Drilled. Therefore shift data in Event Editor and Data Acquisition movements will not be correct.
Example:
The calculation is done as follows:
Meters Drilled = Source Measure x Measure.Multiplier
Remember:
1) "Checkout" reference data for measures and rules before making changes or adding new items.
2) "Checkin" reference data for measures and rules after making changes or adding new items.
3) "Publish" reference data to save and publish changes.
Step 1: Add new drill measure or edit existing measure in Configuration Items > Measures > Measure.
- "Checkout" Measures data before changes.
- Add site specific general & attribute values.
- Add a Multiplier value based on the drill size.
- Click on "Apply" after all applicable fields have values, then click "OK".
- "Checkin" Measures data after changes.
Step 2: Select new measure (added in Step 1) to the "CalcMetresDrill" Rule under "Source Measures" in Configuration Items > Measures > GeneratedMeasuresRuleSet > CalcMetresDrill.
- "Checkout" GeneratedMeasuresRuleSet data before changes.
- Click on applicable rule for Calculating Drill Meters to open the rule
- Select Drill Measure from "Available Source Measures" box.
- Either double click or click on right-pointing arrow to add.
- Drill measure should now show under "Selected Source Measures" box.
- Press "OK" on right-hand side of the screen.
- "Checkin" GeneratedMeasuresRuleSet data after changes.
Step 3: Select "Publish" to save and publish changes.
Meters Drilled will now calculate correctly for the drill measure in the example.
