Checking the shift processing time allows us to evaluate system performance from another perspective, as the shift reprocessing time can give us an insight into the health of the system, although the delay time can be subjective since it depends on various factors, such as:
- Number of tokens in the database tables (locations, equipment, measurements, people, etc.)
- Network performance
- Compliance with minimum server requirements (memory, CPU, storage)
- Database maintenance.
Still, prolonged times in shift reprocessing can help us suspect a problem in the system, which should be addressed by your consultant or Pitram technical support staff.
To check the time it takes the system to reprocess shifts, within the DOME portal,
1.- Click on the services icon.
2.- Click on the Shift Reprocessing History option.
In the next window, you will find the details of the reprocessed shift, date, start and end time of the reprocessing, as well as the total time in minutes it took to reprocess the shift.
In the previous example, some shifts are shown with high reprocessing durations, over 25 minutes; if this behavior is consistently shown over several weeks, report it to the Pitram support area.
